We hope you enjoyed this video โย drop a comment and let us know! This is one of 20+ episodes in this Reveal NZ campervan series around New Zealand, you can watch the others here โย https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLUDuSYCnVh-SUQbCofbEFYbNaaZrfdipU
You are kidding me how many hours did you expect to spend on the toilet. Just back from three weeks in a Britz in the South Island didn't use up the toilet roll it came with.
Me and my family did exactly the same trip (from Auckland to the most southern point) in the same campervan back in 2016-17!
To anyone who decides to do this and think they will be overwhelmed during the orientation process of learning the ins & outs of the RV rental. One of you just needs to pull out your phone and record the tutorial for later reference. Easy and common sense really.
You make it sound like such a great adventure!
YES…Just found your site ! Im a kiwi and just love my passion of motorhomeing ! Ive owned the big ones but have now down sized to a much smaller Toyota Hiace 2.4 ltr petrol model with a real high roof,ex maui campervan.Has all the comforts of the bigger ones and there's a bed up top as well.I love driving it and parking is easy.Layout is simple, with main bed at the back & kitchen up front. We do most of the cooking outside on a fold out table. There is a porta poti under the kitchen sink, that we dont use because we use clean council toilets and our showers are at public hot pools or outside showers at beaches. Our Camper is certified self contained and I belong to NZMCA ! Love responsible freedom Camping here in our NZ.
Not a "car" its a Motorhome !!
How much did it all cost? For the hire
Great collection of videos on NZ. Planning on a 3 week campervan trip of the South Island. Would be great to get some inputs on campervan booking? Anyway we can exchange messages?
Loved the video guys. Cant wait to watch the next episodes. I can feel the excitement in your eyes. You both look very cute together. May you live long together.
Hi what month in winter did you go to the South Island?
Hi guys! My hubby and I are planning our first roadtrip with our 9 month baby to Abel Tasman region. Do you think it is safe for a baby to sleep on the upper bed with the attached mesh? I struggle to find a safe van that has enough space to fit a travel cot…
whats the van capacity?
When can I move in?..
He so handsome guy….
She is so beautiful
Started seeing your videos very recently and I am addicted. The places you visit, the must do's,the information you guys share. We have also travelled through both Islands in a campervan ,and it's really nostalgic to see the places again through your eyes
What time of the year did you go?
In Australia we call this Motorhome, not even campervan.
because campervan is the one without shower or toilet & usually the size is more smaller than this one.
We've never thought about renting a camper van before, but after looking at your setup we're intrigued about the idea!
Looking forward to seeing it out on the open road! ๐
it is an expensive vehicle
Wow, this deserves so many more views! Super awesome video ๐
awesome… started to get itchy feet myself just watching, great reason to come back home for a visit..
Fantastic content! So glad I found your channel. Love how humble and easygoing you both are!
Just started binging on the series ๐๐๐๐๐
Very good….fantastic van. Great presentation thank you:)
That's my dream…
Still following your journey….from Thailand.
Cmon guys. You're not doing Hawkes Bay? Lol!
Always look forward to your travels, but this one has me really hooked!!! ๐๐
Super excited to see you guys tour New Zealand!! Fully expecting to get a ton of ideas for our own someday trip to New Zealand!
Ok, this is on my bucket list now. I would love to do your route.
We're looking forward to following you along on your camper trip. NZ's our favourite! We''ve just returned from our first motorhome trip around the highlands of Scotland. Living out of the camper was so much fun…although emptying the loo cartridge was a whole different kind of fun which I'm sure you found out too! lol…
